TOM WILLIAMS AND JAMES SEEAR | RECYCLABOX
GATWICK DIAMOND WINNERS | 2011
Tom Williams and James Seear won the Gatwick prize fund back in 2011 with their business ‘Recyclabook’, a company focused around recycling second-hand educational books. Originally the duo travelled around many Universities and Colleges around the country, buying used and unwanted books from previous students ready to sell onto the next generation. In the years that followed, the pair has achieved great success, expanding their business and recycling thousands, if not millions, of books all around the globe.
Their latest venture, Recyclabox – the first self-service machine that gives money for electronics such as phones, tablets, DVDs, Blu-rays and video games – has also become a brilliant success around the country. The process is simple, you bring your items to the box, deposit, and watch the money appear! With their growing achievements, the pair show no signs of slowing down – and we are extremely proud of everything they have accomplished.
